Rules

Drinko knows two phases: the Normal phase and the Drink Train phase.

Setting up

Choosing a deck composition

TheNormal Drinko is played with all color cards, the black Split iconSplit.png, Target iconTarget.png, and Deflect iconDeflect.png cards.

Optionally, you can add the Star card out.png if you want to live dangerously, or Plus 0 iconPlus0.png and Minus 1 iconMinus1.png cards. Beware that the Plus 0 and Minus 1 may make the game hastake twolonger piles;with minimal or no added fun.

The draw deck

Once you have chosen all cards you wish to have in the Drawdeck:

  • Shuffle the Playdeck.
    • pile.

  • Give

    Start by giving everyeach player 7 cards.

Put the rest of the cards face down on the 

Put the remainder of the cards face-down in the middle where everyone can reach. This will be the Draw deck.

Then, draw one card from the top of the draw deck, and put it face up on the Play pile. Ideally, the card that appears should be a colored number card. If the card isn't a colored number card, repeat this step until the top card IS a colored number card.

Choose a player to begin. It is now their turn. The game starts in a clockwise turn order.order, in the Normal phase.

On their turn, each player must play a legal card from their hand.
